Twitter’s management exodus doesn’t seem to be taking any breaks. Even though the micro-blogging platform has now figured out its action plan and shown signs of growth, the executives still seem to be departing — flying off into the free sky. The latest exits for the company include two notable individuals — Celia Poon, the VP of finance and Jeremy Rishel, an engineering VP responsible for Twitter’s live video efforts.

This development was first reported by Recode but has now been confirmed by a company spokesperson. The spokesperson did not dole out any further details about the departures. While Poon has kept mum on her end, Rishel confirmed his decision to depart the company with a subtle, poetic tweet.

As for Poon, she is departing the micro-blogging company after a lengthy four-year stint. She jumped on board back in 2013, after switching from her similar finance role at American game developer Zynga. She was appointed as the VP of Finance, who reported directly to current CFO-cum-COO Anthony Noto. She will be departing the company in August

Poon had been handed some heavy financial duties when Noto decided to juggle two very notable roles at the company — after the departure of COO Adam Bain. It is believed that she was being picked as Noto’s replacement for the chief finance officer role but it will be impossible now. Her responsibilities are now being handed down to the company’s VP in charge of corporate finance, David Aufderhaar.

Jeremy Rishel, on the other hand, has also been working with the micro-blogging giant for the last four odd years. He joined Twitter when it acquired social analytics company Bluefin Labs. While he was the Senior VP of Engineering at BlueFin, her has held several roles at Twitter over the years.

Most recently, he was helping the company carve out a niche in the live video programming space by leading its engineering efforts. He reported directly to Periscope CEO Kayvon Beykpou and his departure will surely come as a significant jolt to Twitter’s live video ambitions, which now extend way beyond just streaming live NFL games or presidential debates. The company has recently planned 24-hour programming in partnership with over twelve partners, announced earlier last month.

This is definitely a significant development for Twitter, who is finding it difficult to replace executives as more of them continue to resign. A couple day ago, the company has released a massively redesigned iteration of its platform across all mediums — web, iOS, Android and even the desktop app. It believes that intuitive changes to the platform will enable newcomers to better interact and be able to engage in conversations — without having to confuse any icons or functionalities.
