After launching Oppo F3 Plus in the Indian market, the company is now all set to launch Oppo F3 in the country. The dual front camera smartphone will be launched in the country on 4th May. To launch this smartphone in India, Oppo has announced that it has tied up with the upcoming second iteration of the blockbuster film from Tollywood — Bahubali.
Commenting about the Bahubali partnership, Will Yang, Brand Director of OPPO India, said in a statement:
We are delighted to announce our association with the most awaited Tollywood movie – Bahubali. The movie is in pursuit of providing the best visual experience to its audience and OPPO as a brand is in pursuit of providing perfect user experience, photography especially Selfie experience. Both the movie and OPPO have pushed boundaries to showcase brilliant technology and will provide great experience to its consumers with its new offering.
Though the specs of the smartphone have not been revealed, rumours suggest that the F3 smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 SoC processor. Along with this, the F3 is expected to come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The front of the device seems identical to the Oppo F3 Plus, and the fingerprint scanner is presumably underneath the Home Button. The company is claiming that the phone will “feature high performance hardware along with optimised software to provide smooth user experience.”
The Oppo F3 Plus was launched last month for Rs. 30,990, and its big highlights were the dual selfie camera setup, its 4000 mAh battery, apart from the sleek metal design. The Oppo F3 will presumably be the smaller variant of the Oppo F3 Plus, and the device will also be priced relatively less in comparison to the Oppo F3 plus variant.
