Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India and within just 45 days it managed to sell over 1 million units. Now, the company is all set to launch Redmi Note 4A in the country. But, before launching its next smartphone, it is addressing the availability for Redmi Note 4 for users craving to purchase the device.

Thus, the Chinese upstart has finally decided to sell the Redmi Note 4 in the offline market as well. However, the phone’s pricing for the offline market has been increased, starting from Rs 11,499 for the basic variant. The company will make Redmi Note 4 available for pre-order between the 14th and 17th of March across large retailers and from 16th to 21st march at offline stores in Delhi, Jaipur and Chandigarh.

The device will be made available across more than 700 large retail stores of Sangeetha, Poorvika, Lot Mobile and BigC and over 1,500 offline mom n pop stores. Xiaomi has also announced that Redmi Note 4 will be going on sale via Mi.com in the last week of March. Commenting on the announcement, Vipin Raina, Head, Offline Sales, Xiaomi India said,

We spent 2016 building strong operations in our offline distribution and paving the way to bring innovation in our offline model. We started this with our direct to retail model, and with the introduction of pre-order, we are extending our innovation to everyone.

Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 4 in three variants – the 2GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage model has been priced at Rs. 9,999, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage model has been priced at Rs. 10,999, while the 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage model has been priced at Rs. 12,999. The phones are available in Gold, Grey, Matte Black, and Silver colors.

With this move, the company is trying to capture a bigger market share in the Indian market. Once the top-ranked smartphone maker in China, Xiaomi has now fallen from its top position in the home market. It is competing against the likes of Huawei, Oppo, and Vivo in the Chinese market.
