HMD Global has not only revived our beloved brand ‘Nokia’ but is also expected to revive a popular mobile device at the upcoming Mobile World Congress. Though Nokia revealed its first ever Android phone Nokia 6 for China recently, there is much more anticipated from the company. HMD will host an official event on 26 February and will announce new Android phones as well as some unexpected surprises.

Not only sources say that Nokia might bring back its N-series phones, but an upgraded version of Nokia 3310 is also suspected. The device was first released back in 2000 as a durable phone equipped with a long lasting battery. The phone gained mass popularity due to its tough construction and obsessive snake game. However, the phone might include a few necessary changes to fulfill the demands of our on-the-go generation. Nokia might not be able to launch the device at MWC, though we may hear some bubbling developments about the same.

However, the leaked prices suggest the phone might come at just €59 (Rs 4,200 approx). The low price hints an increase in competition in future with the entry of Nokia in the market.

Apart from Nokia 3310, Nokia is rumored to launch other devices namely Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. While the Nokia 5 is said to be priced at €199 (Rs 14,000 approx), Nokia 3 will come handy at just €149 (Rs 11,000 approx). Nokia 5 will sport a 5.2-inch HD touchscreen, 2GB of RAM, a 12 MP primary camera. Moreover, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC similar to the Nokia 6.

There has been a shortage of leaks regarding the specs for Nokia 3. However, considering the difference between the prices of two phones, Nokia 3 will comparatively be a low-end phone. The said phones are expected to be released for global markets and will mark Nokia’s return on the international playground.

It is also cited that the company is working on a new smartphone, Nokia P1 powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor. However, we don’t hold our hopes to its launch anytime soon considering the dibs placed by Samsung on the processing chips.
