Apple, the technology giant based in Cupertino, is known to all of us. However, most of us are unaware of a recently added app to the iOS App store.  The app we are talking about is developed and designed by Apple itself. Out of the blue, a Support app has been rolled out to the iOS app store. Although the app is only visible in the Netherlands App store, we are pretty sure it will soon make its way to other regions as well.

The new Support app will act as a personalized guide for all of your Apple products. Since the app would require a signup with your Apple ID, it will have the knowledge of all other hardware accessed through the same ID. Thereby, it will provide you with exclusive support. The homescreen would display information only about products you own. Apart from that, it will include articles relating to basic features like iCloud or iMessage. Even the app description describes it as “Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions.”

The app is compatible with iOS 9.0 or later versions with iPhone, iPad,  and iPod touch. Released on 8 November 2016, the app would require over 95.2 MB of storage space. The app would be available for download under Utilities Category in the App Store.

Apple has been constantly working to assist its users in using its products. Lately, Cupertino had also launched Tips in iOS 8. Tips, the app helped users by offering quick feature tutorials. Further, few changes were made in recent past in Apple store as well. Through the changes, users could easily locate nearby stores and book Genius Bar appointments.

An interesting feature of the new app is scheduling a repair appointment at an Apple Store or with an authorized third-party dealership. Also, we can easily chat, schedule a call, or drop a mail to an Apple Support technician. Basic support app features are also available in the app like tutorials, tips, product information, details about Apple products, etc.

This secret roll out of Support App will certainly have a positive impact on iPhone users.
