As reported earlier, Samsung has finally launched its latest smartphone — Galaxy On8 in the Indian market. This is the third device in the company’s online only On-series, which alread offers the On5 and On7 smartphones exclusively through Flipkart.

Like the other smartphones of this series, the On8 is also a Flipkart exclusive. The smartphone will be made available on Flipkart with its Big Billion Day sale, that is slated to begin from the 2nd of October.

The design of the phone is somewhat similar to what we saw on the J-series smartphones that were launched earlier this year. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with screen resolutions of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor (Exynos 7580), along with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The company has also included a micorSD card slot, allowing users to expand the storage up to 128GB.

On the camera front, the phone comes equipped with a 13 MP camera on the back, with a f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. On the front side, you get a 5 MP snapper with a f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.

Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with TouchWiz interface on top, the phone is powered by a 3300mAh battery. As for connectivity, it supports Dual SIM, 4G LTE, along with usual set of bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity options.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 is priced at Rs. 15,800 in India, and will be made available exclusively via Flipkart from 2nd October. It will be available in Gold, Black and White colours.
