It hosts a series of meetups, investor sessions, mentorship programmes, pitch sessions with an aim to connect the tier-2 & tier-3 cities startups that lack opportunities and provides support to the startups from mentoring to networking to funding under one roof, thus making itself as India’s online incubation & mentoring platform for startups.
The recent event was hosted on 27th August’16 in Mumbai. It saw participation of more than 60 startups, 12 startups pitched to the investors and 10 startups showcased their product. The session was filled with camaraderie and the network of most sorted and experienced industry professionals, policy makers, technologists, marketing gurus, and the investors was present. The selected 15 startups will be getting chance to interact with VC and get one-on-one mentorship.
Stepup 360 witnessed some renowned industry experts and investors namely Rajnikant Patel (Former MD & CEO BSE), Abhijeet Kumar (Co-founder ah! Ventures), Sreedhar Prasad (Partner KPMG), Shweta Shalini (Director Fortune Cookie Ux Design Solutions & BJP member), Miten Mehta (Investor) among others.
The idea of Stepup 360 was conceptualized by Shweta Singh who is an entrepreneur herself and consults startups on legal and IPR matters. She found that there is a big gap in the ecosystem, majorly connecting 2 and 3 tier cities. Dilnawaz Khan, a renowned serial entrepreneur is the strategic advisor to this initiative.
