Microsoft announced on Tuesday via a blog post that Yammer, its enterprise social network, will now be enabled by default for all eligible Office 365 commercial customers. The company believes that this culminates their foundation efforts for Yammer.

All users, until now had to depend upon the administrators to setup Yammer for the team. This new development rids employees of this trend and will help everyone enjoy the benefits of Yammer. According to the company, all Office 365 users with a license will now be able to easily access Yammer from the Office 365 app launcher or start a Yammer conversation from SharePoint or Office 365 Video Portal.

Not just this, the Redmond giant says that in the future, the service will also be integrated with Delve and Skype Broadcast to make Yammer even more flexible and easy to use. The software giant wants users to be able to share ideas and work together in the open using Yammer’s flexible workspaces.

The firm says that Yammer will integrate with Office 365 Groups sometime in the first half of 2016. This will enable users to easily switch between services like Skype, OneDrive, Outlook and much more.

The service is also covered by the Office 365 Trust Center, which offers the protection of international and regional standards. Here’s what Microsoft Office corporate vice president Kirk Koenigsbauer had to say about this in the blog post announcing Yammer’s newest update:

Organizations benefit from the industry-leading control, security and privacy commitments of Office 365 when using Yammer—enabling collaboration to take place against a backdrop of trust. Yammer is now covered by the Office 365 Trust Center, which offers the protection of international and regional standards such as the Office 365 Data Processing Agreement with European Union Model Clauses (DPA with EUMC), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Office 365 Business Associate Agreement (HIPAA BAA), ISO 27001, ISO 27018, compliance with Section 508 for web accessibility and SSAE 16 SOC 1 and SOC 2 reports.

The service also comes with a simpler, more powerful admin experience with the ability to manage key aspects of Yammer from Office 365, including identity, user and license management.
