Got too much wires around on/around your workdesk ? Samsung has found a way to un-tangle your workstation. The Korean electronics giant has today unveiled the SE370, world’s first wireless mobile charging monitor.
The new display unit not just gives you crisp and clear visual treats, but it will also make your work area less of a mess by getting rid of unnecessary cables and wires for charging mobile devices. The unit has a circular wireless charging area which works with all mobile devices that use the leading Qi wireless charging standard.
The SE370 gives you feedback via an LED light to notify you that the device placed on it is charging. You do not need to buy any external charging kits, everything is integrated.
The highlight has been covered, but the new Samsung device is still a monitor and needs to display good quality pictures. Let’s go through that now.
The SE370 is in many ways a very ‘smart’ monitor. It makes your viewing experience a pleasure and less strenuous. It is packed with next-gen tech like the eye-saver mode which reduces strain on the eyes because of blue light by implementing suitable environmental settings.
It is flicker-free, which contributes a lot in making the viewing experience less of a chore. The viewing angles of this display are extreme (178 degrees to be precise) and this has been made possible because of the high-performance Plane-to-Line-Switching (PLS) panel. This tech also holds strong for a high grade picture quality.
The monitor is highly energy efficient using a function called Eco Saving Plus which reduces screen brightness depending on various external factors. There are other manual settings the user can walk through, if they choose to, too. This makes the monitor highly eco-friendly and superbly power efficient.
With a very low input latency value, an amazing refresh rate and an unbeatable 4ms response time, the monitor is an all out beast when it comes to gaming and video playback, thanks to the AMD FreeSync technology.

And if that’s not reason enough for you to buy this electronic piece, let me tell you, the new monitor is beautiful. It looks like something stolen from Mr. Stark’s personal inventory. The design is just marvelous with a narrow bezel composed of a semi-transparent blue finish framing the monitor’s sleek, white glossy body on all four sides for a clean, futuristic look.
So when can you get your hands on tit ? Not soon. Even though Samsung is yet to announce an official release date and pricing scheme for the new SE370, our best guess is that the monitor will be out by the end of this year. As for costs though, don’t worry, as the new Samsung monitor won’t cost you more than an average desktop PC.
