Google’s Custom Map maker has been a handy tool for anyone who wishes to map unmapped locations on Google’s mapping software, along with marking custom locations for oneself. Starting today though, you would be able to do the same using Google Drive as well.

Google has announced that you would be able to design, share and access the search giant’s custom map maker tool via Drive itself. The custom mapping tool would be as easily available to you as others, including Slides, Docs and the lesser known drawings and forms.

As Google notes, with Maps now on Drive, you can easily do stuff like mapping out the best route to visit clients, or sharing the location of your food truck with fans. It is now also easier to combine My Maps with data from Google Forms and other tools in the Google Drive package.
