Considering peak demand for Apple’s very first wearable, the Cupertino-giant has now announced that you can reserve the model of your liking online and then walk into an Apple store to buy the same.

The company had previously informed us that in-store availability would be started somewhere around this time and this new development going live keeps to that timeline.

This new method of getting your favourite wearable gadget allows you to choose between the different variants available. You can select the type you like and the online service will show you the availability of the model in your nearest store.

Both the 38mm and 42mm sizes are available in mixed availability, with the 38mm seemingly a bit more dominant in supply. Some of the models are not available everywhere, giving them a sort of exclusive class. An example for that would be the 42mm Space Black edition.

Stock is available in most Apple stores across the US and will soon be shipped throughout the world. Booking a model online will notify the Store nearest to you and the staff will keep the required model aside for you, allowing you to simply walk in and buy it whenever you can.

The Tech giant also announced that all Watch models are only on offer via reservation, which means that without reservation, you cannot buy the gadget by going directly to the Store. Reservations begin at 8 AM Apple says you might not always be able to get reservations done due to high demand and currently limited stock.
