Knowing which videos are live around the world has been brought to your fingertips by the latest update of Periscope. And trust me, this is one hell of a great leap from the older feeds system the app was using.
Instead of using feeds to open up videos, the users can now open up a global map showing regions where other users are broadcasting. This can be as specific as providing you the city of the broadcaster, which you can easily zoom in to see.
This feature was already anticipated by most tech geeks as the CEO of Periscope, Kayvon Beykpour, had hinted this on a few previous occasions.
Other features the update will bring to you are the ability to share broadcasts you view on Twitter and also making replays instantly available.
Currently, this update is available only for iOS devices, but Android users won’t have to wait much longer as they will soon get these features in a later update this year.
