Google has now made the Nexus 9 and Nexus Player, available for pre-orders. Nexus Player, after a few hitches at the FCC clearance table, crossed that hurdle successfully today.

It seems Nexus Player’s FCC clearance was the only thing, which was holding back the pre-orders for both the devices. And though it was speculated that the pre-orders may still take time to come up, Google has surprised everyone by putting the devices, up for pre-orders, in such a short span.

Google announced the pre-orders via a tweet :

The Nexus 9, Google’s latest Nvidia Tegra powered android tablet, starts at $399, while Nexus Player, Google’s first Android based streaming device starts at $99. While Nexus 9 is slated to ship from November 3rd, Nexus Player will ship in “three to four weeks”.

Pre-orders for Nexus 6 will start on October 29th.
