AI-Powered Document Analyser Maker Stelae Technologies Grabs Undislcosed Pre-Series A

Stelae Technologies, a software company based in Chennai and Bangalore, has today announced that they have raised pre-series A round of funding, led by UK-based Earlsfield Capital along with the participation of Saha Fund, Cross Border Angels and Mohandas Pai.

The investment will be used to scale up the delivery operations of the company and increase the breadth of technology partners world-wide, building on the customer references already acquired.

Stelae Technologies was founded by Aruna Schwarz, Maria Shiao, Pierre Fraisse, and Sandeep Raizada. The company’s patent pending software – Khemeia, detects content elements in documents like human eye using artificial intelligence based pattern recognition and content analyses algorithms.

The software unlocks unstructured content in documents, rendering it searchable, indexable and analyzable by Content Mining, Cognitive Learning and Content Management solutions like IBM Watson, IBM Cognos, SAP Business Objects, PTC Arbortex.

Extracting and semantically tagging meta-data, structuring and hierarchically organizing information, generating Table of Contents and converting to XML based outputs, Khemeia creates structured content from paper and PDF, Word, ASCII, HTML. documents.
