As expected, Realme launched its highly anticipated Realme 2 Pro smartphone in India, for a starting price of Rs. 13,990. It comes in three trendy colors, which includes Black Sea, Ice Lake, and Blue Ocean and will be available via Flipkart from 11th October.
The phone comes in three variants — 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/64GB storage and 6GB RAM/128GB storage, and are priced at Rs 13,999, Rs 15,990 and Rs 17,990 respectively.
The Realme 2 Pro comes with a 6.3 inch full-screen display with a droplet-shaped notch, which the company calls a ‘Dew Drop’ display. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor, which is currently one of the best mid-range SoCs around.
As said, the phone comes in three different variants based on the memory configuration — 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. All three variants of the phone comes with a microSD card slot that enables users to further expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 256GB.
The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup, which comprises a 16MP f/1.7 Sony IMX398 primary sensor and a 2MP f/2.2 secondary sensor. The camera comes with a 1.12-micron size and is backed by a Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) sensor and a LED flash. On the front side, the Realme 2 Pro comes with a 16MP f/2.0 sensor for selfies.
Connectivity options include USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE, and GPS. Running on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box, the smartphone is backed by a 3,500mAh battery.
