Amazon has come up with a brand new service that will allow users to order clothes. Now there is nothing new in that right? Well, not only will you be able to order clothes, but you will also be able to try them out — right in your very own house and then, if you think they suit you — make the payment.
Yup, Amazon is bringing you your own shop. There are a couple of perquisites though. One, you need to be an Amazon Prime member. In fact, the program itself is called the Prime Wardrobe. Prime members will be able to order three or more clothes from the e-commerce behemoth.
What’s more, you will have a whole week to decide which clothes you want to buy and to which the answer is nada, before Amazon charges you for them.
The move is really, really significant. Purchasing clothes is something all of us do fairly regularly and one of the biggest reasons retail stores are still around are because we get to try them there. Amazon’s plan however, could well cut the strings and let people order the stuff they want, directly to their place. You then have one week to try it out, ask whoever’s opinion you need, and then ship it back.
You also get more than a million items from shoes to accessories and clothing to choose from. This includes highly popular brands like Calvin Klein, Hugo Boss, Adidas, Levi’s and so on.
Whats more, you are also liable to receive a 20 percent discount when you keep five or more items. Of course, you can avail all these services when you are ready to shell out $99 per annum and take up a prime membership.
Usually, the deal would have allowed you 2-day shipping, streaming video, Twitch prime plan and a couple of other benefits. Now though, with clothes thrown into the deal, the Amazon Prime membership suddenly looks much more exciting.
