We all know Apple for its iPhones, iPads, and Macbooks. But ever thought of a vaporizing machine under the big brand name ‘Apple,’ that maybe called “iVape.” You might not have! But the recent revelations by the US Patent and Trademark Office today has forced us to think over the matter.

The Cupertino giant filed an application for a distinct vaporizing technology, the past year. The said patent filed with U.S. patents office was published by the department this week.

From the sourced document, it is unclear whether the company will channelize the tech in its existing products or future developments. It’s also highly possible that the company may introduce the technology as a separate device, particularly made for vaporizing. It might turn out as an air freshener for cars or Apple stores. The application mentions no human intervention along with no clarity on the materials to be used for the development of this device.

The document presents several diagrams picturing conversion of vapors of a present sublimated solution or substance. The illustrations further depict chambers, rounded tube structures along with a heating plate. They also represent inlet and outlet points for the vaporizing material in hand with a recirculation unit. Explaining the mechanism of the device, the file states,

A chamber body is to receive therein a substance that is to be vaporized or sublimated into a vapor, A plate whose bottom face rests on a substance inside of the chamber is temperature regulated. e.g.,using a heater therein, which releases heat directly above the substance that lies below. The plate slides downwards as the substance is consumed by vaporization or sublimation. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.

Though Apple has never spoken of such plans before, it is quite interesting to assume what could be the result of the patent. The company has been the tech industry for a decade now and has never disappointed its users with its products. The mentioned vaporizing technology might as well generate more revenues for Apple in the future! iVape, it is!
