A recent bug detected in Apple’s iTunes Connect service for developers, is logging in developers to different accounts, rather their own ones. Apple has pulled down the service for the time being.
iTunes Connect is a platform provided by Apple to developers, wherein they can sell, upload, modify or update their apps through an Apple account. It also allows developers to track their net sales and income from their apps, providing a comprehensive analytics platform.
Through iTunes Connect, developers can also download iTunes Producer, a free app that makes delivery of your music and books seamless.
The entire bug emerged when certain developers posted screeenshots on Twitter wherein the depicted that the were getting access to apps, which they hadn’t even developed at the first place.
