HTC had earlier sent a press event invite for an October 8 event in New York and they made it pretty clear by the image in the invite that a Camera specific smartphone is on its way.
As per some latest reports, the Taiwanese giant might launch the long rumored Nexus device or the Nexus 9 in that special event. Previous reports had suggested that Nexus 9 is expected to launch in the third quarter of this year. The new Nexus of this year will feature a “Tube shaped camera” which will be waterproof with a 16MP camera Sensor and wireless connectivity which will let you control it with your mobile device via a app.
The tablet will sport a Tegra K1 processor with 3GB of RAM with an expected 64-bit Android L but it might not be the first device with 4GB of RAM as it was expected before. The device will sport a 9-inch 1080p display with a inbuilt storage of 16GB with a external microSD card slot upto 128GB.
