Qualcomm has announced another addition to its lower end, Snapdragon 200 processor series, the Snapdragon 210 processor.
This new processor has been primarily designed keeping entry level 4G enabled smartphones in mind. It will offer integrated multimode 3G/4G LTE and LTE Dual SIM for entry-level smartphones.
Apart from this, The company also unveiled its first LTE-equipped tablet reference design, enabling OEMs and ODMs to create and introduced a new class of multimode 3G/4G LTE connected tablets. Initial designs of the same will be available with the Snapdragon 410 and 210 processors.
The Snapdragon 210 processor comes with fully integrated 4G LTE-Advanced Cat 4 Carrier Aggregation, LTE Broadcast and LTE Dual SIM/Dual standby. The processor also provides high quality full HD 1080p recording.
SD 210 also supports many high end features like 8 MP camera support, zero shutter lag technology, auto focus and auto white balance. It’s computational powers match those of the upper end SDs like the 410, but at a cost-effective range.
