<Re/code> has reported that Apple is probably in talks with American Express, to introduce a payments system in the upcoming iPhone 6. Apart from AE, Apple needs to talk to others too, if needs to realise this dream before September 9.

As per apple’s plans, iPhone users would be able to pay at various retail stores using their phone, instead of using their credit or debit cards for the same. All they will need to do is, to present their phones at the time of checkout and the payment will be done.

As per sources at <Re/code>, Apple has already held discussions with multiple credit card payment networks for its new payment service. As per previous leaks, Visa has already agreed for the same.

Although many other companies, most notably Google, have tried their luck at a wallet system, they haven’t had much of a success. Many analysts think that Apple has a real chance of getting into this, largely because of the huge amount of credit card databases which it has with it from iTunes and App Store.
