A small chinese brand, which was nothing 4 years ago, and a name unheard of in India, till a month ago, has suddenly created quite a lot of buzz all around the globe. And to further fuel that buzz, Xiaomi today announced yet another power-packed phone, the Mi4.
Mi4, the successor of highly in-demand, Mi3, features a 5 inch display, with a 1080p resolution. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
It comes with an in-built storage of 16GB. Xiaomi’s flagship device also features a 13-megapixel rear snapper, and a whopping 8-megapixel front-facing camera, a specification, which some phones still use in their rear cameras.
On the design front, Xiaomi, for the first time, has introduced Metal in phone’s body, although it is used very conservatively. It is present in the form of a Metal frame, all around the body.
The most interesting part about the phone is its battery specifications. It has a 3,080mAh battery and the company has specifically claimed that it can survive for a day and half on normal usage. It also claims that the battery can be charged up to 60 percent in just an hour.
Xiaomi is all set to start selling the Mi3 in India, starting today, which has already notched up over 1,00,000 registrations, and has been the reason behind Flipkart’s crash.
