Singapore-based coworking space provider JustCo has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PwC Venture Hub to give startups a global network of business expertise. It will connect businesses with partners and relevant people on the ground who will assist them in capturing growth opportunities and expand into key markets. This will be executed via PwC’s Global Gateway including innovation hubs in Asia, Silicon Valley, Europe, and Israel.
Other benefits for the entrepreneurs and SMEs associated with JustCo include business advice from PwC on a range of activities from value chain strategy, business model restructuring to strategic cost transformation. Also, the members can get one-on-one mentorship session and consultation from PwC’s Venture Hub experts. JustCo Founder and CEO, Wan Sing Kong, in a press statement, said,
Our business model enables small companies to start quickly and expand easily. We support their growth by connecting them to the JustCo community and providing direct access to partners and services within the venture ecosystem such as PwC’s Venture Hub.
The PwC team will be seen participating in numerous social events happening at JustCo. The main motive behind this will be to increase the access the JustCo community will have to them. Patrick Yeo, PwC’s Venture Hub Leader added,
Singapore’s entrepreneurial scene is undoubtedly flourishing but there are many challenges that entrepreneurs and SMEs are facing in the current environment. Our aim is to help entrepreneurs and business owners such as those at JustCo, identify, prioritise and capture sustainable growth opportunities and explore new frontiers.
A brainchild of JustGroup, JustCo currently operates two coworking spaces in the Island nation and two more, one at UIC Building and the second at Marina One, are slated to launch in June. The MoU signing happened at the Robinson Road facility yesterday.
The Venture Hub was launched last year by PwC Singapore to be the world’s first one-stop shop targeted at helping investors and entrepreneurs active in the startup and innovation space navigate the complex ecosystem.
