iPhone SE

iPhone users are in for a treat. Apple is upgrading the storages on the iPhone SE by bumping them up to 32 and 128 GB. And the best part of the news is that the company is doing so at a minimal cost to the user.

The new iPhone will pack either 32 or 128 GB of storage. Compare it with earlier, when the iPhone SE model came with either 16 or 64 GB of storage options. What’s more, users will have to shell merely $499 for the 128 GB iPhone or $399 for the 32 GB model. So basically, users can get double the memory without shelling out any extra money!

This move should actually go down very well with folks purchasing the device. I mean Apple doesn’t really give users the option to expand the memory of their devices via an external memory card. That said, an extra 16 GB for free, or an extra 64 GB for a mere $50 is pretty sweet.

Apple launched the iPhone SE last year. The device comes with a 4-inch display and was expected to cater to users who wanted a small device without compromising much on the power front. It had a fair bit of success however, the storage provided didn’t really meet up to expectations. I mean I have handled a 16 GB device and the storage fills up as fast as lightning — specially in this age of high definition content and media.

With 32-GB of on board storage though, the iPhone SE could look a lot more attractive to users wishing to get in on the iOS ecosystem without burning a huge hole in their pockets. In other related news, Apple is also releasing an all new red version of the iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus.

The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus come with a bright red matte finish and a silver Apple logo on the back of the device. The new devices will be It will be available in 128GB and 256GB variants and will start with a price tag of $749.

Also, the company will be donating a small donation to the Global Fund to fight HIV/AIDS for each of these red iPhones you purchase. Apple says that it has donated almost $130 million to the fund via Product Red sales since 2006.

Finally, we come to the brand new iPad. The 9.7-inch tablet comes with Retina display and packs an A9 processor under the hood. The device starts at $320 for the 32 GB version and you can chose to go all the way up to 128GB for $459. Either way, the device would still be one of the most affordable premium tablets out there.
