Sony boasted of several games that take full advantage of the upcoming PS4 Pro during its recently live-streamed event which took place in New York. The PS4 Pro can potentially enable games to display at 4K resolution, utilising all the extra graphical effects, and run at significantly smoother frame rates. Additionally, games will benefit regardless of whether they’re played on 4K or 1080p displays.

A few of the already-released games will feature all the required PS4 Pro support through updates and patches, while others will launch with the necessary enhancements out of the box.

It’s not abundantly clear as of yet about how exactly each game will benefit from the new upgraded hardware, but the system’s lead architect Mark Cerny did reveal some details on a number of the games during the event. We’ve compiled all the available information to provide you with a comprehensive list of games that will and will not feature the support and further details.

Games Confirmed to Not Get an Upgrade Patch

There are currently two games — Destiny and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — that’ll probably not receive the upgrade patch for the PS4 Pro.

Since we want to fully focus on Cyberpunk 2077 and Gwent, and converting The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from a full HD game into a 4K one would be too much of a time and resource-consuming process, we decided not to release an edition of Wild Hunt supporting the new features of PlayStation Pro,

CD Projekt Red said.
