Honestbee, famous for its online groceries service today announced the launch of its laundry service, Honestbee Laundry.
The announcement was made at an event and there service is limited to Singapore as of now. The mobile apps for iOS and Android have been updated to add the new section making it more convenient for the customers.
The startup’s services available in Singapore, Hong Kong, and select cities in Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and the Philippines. With the launch of its laundry service, Honestbee is adamant on addressing problems faced by working class to get these important household chores done in less time.
Said Joel Sng, CEO and co-founder of Honestbee said,
Launching the laundry service is a natural extension to our business on two fronts – it allows us to fully utilise our resources to meet the needs of our customers, and at the same time provide synergistic convenience with [our] grocery [service]. We are really excited about this launch as it addresses the household pain point for singles and families which we can optimise with technology.
The new service offers customers the luxury to choose a Premium Dry Cleaning option enabling dry cleaning in an eco-friendly wash where the clothing item is treated with ultimate care, hence, ensuring a superior quality. It also provides you with a multitude of options to choose from – Dry Clean, Wash and Iron, Wash and Fold, Iron Only with rates of various kinds of apparels displayed in each section. It renders the convenience of pickup and delivery for the customers, making all the options available in the app.
You can choose the items you wish to get cleaned, a preferred date, and, a one-hour time slot for pick up and delivery. Just as you check out, a Laundry Bee(an honestbee staff member, sweet!) would take over and get it done for you!
