Recently Google I/O 2016, world’s largest tech conference took place at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA on 18th May. On the 10th year of the event, the most brilliant developer, digital experts and technology professional joined the conference from around the world. In Bangladesh, Google I/O Replay 2016 took place at GP House (Grameenphone’s Head Office) on Saturday, 4th June ,2016. Every year after the Google I/O main event the replay events are hosted in Google Communities. The event introduced latest technologies throughout the day. At the morning Codelabs, hands on workshop sessions for developers took place. The participants were taught about the coding styles in latest google platforms.
The main event started at 2:30 p.m. where the four representatives of Bangladesh who went to the ‘Google I/O, 2016’ took the stage to share their learning. Rakshanda Rukham from Rangpur represented Women Techmakers and Google Developer Group Dhaka, Mahbub Hasan from Old Dhaka represented Google Developer Group Dhaka, Ishtiaque Reza represented Google Developer Group Sonargaon and Javed Sultan represented Google Developer Group Bangla.Nearly 400 people participated the event. The participants got T-Shirts, notepads and other cool gifts. Google I/O Replay, 2016 was organized by Google Developer Group and was hosted by Grameenphone and was supported by Preneur Lab.
