India’s largest e-commerce brand Flipkart, is announcing some management rejigs now. The company has announced appointment of Sriram Venkataraman as its new Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and Pramod Jain as VP of Taxation.

Under his role, Sriram will look after the company’s commerce platform. Along with Sriram, the company has also appointed Pramod Jain as Vice President and Head of Taxation. Sriram Venkataraman has over 19 years of experience in Unilever, where he handled a variety of leadership and operational responsibilities. Prior to joining Flipkart, he was Head of Sales Finance in Hindustan Unilever.

He will head all aspects of the finance function for Commerce Platform and will also be responsible for driving the Commerce Platform business to deliver its ambitions, said the company is a press release.

Prior to joining Flipkart, Pramod Jain worked with Indus Towers Limited, the world’s largest telecom tower company and a joint venture of Airtel, Vodafone and Idea, as Vice President of Taxation for more than five years.

As per the company, he will create a strong charter for the taxation team and play a key role in taking the team’s engagement with revenue and government authorities to the next level.

Flipkart has started paying more attention towards the senior management level and has been regularly appointing experienced people in the senior managerial role. In April, the company appointed Hari Vasudev as SVP of Engineering and IT Analytics for Supply Chain.

In the same month, Flipkart also appointed Peeyush Ranjan as Senior Vice President and Head of Engineering, Anand KV as the Senior Vice President of Customer Experience, and Manish Maheshwari as VP Head of Seller Ecosystem.
