Microsoft is keeping up to its promise — its promise of delivering faster updates to its all new, cross-platform OS — Windows 10. And even though those updates don’t really come with much of documentation and explanation, its good to see MS being so proactive in rolling out immediate updates to its newly launched OS.

This fresh update, as has been the case with the previous ones post Windows 10 launch, is more of a cumulative package of updates, largely comprising of some previously released singular updates, all rolled into one, and dished out to users.

Also, don’t expect major changes after installing this fresh code. Microsoft has mentioned before hand, that these updates are for ‘enhancing the functionality of Windows 10’. So don’t crib if these updates didn’t surprise you.

As has been mentioned by MS in previous updates as well, Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Therefore, this package contains all previously released fixes. If you have previous updates installed, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer.

Here’s a bit of documentation that Microsoft provides on the update page :

And while these updates are more about functionality, Microsoft’s new way of dishing out cumulative updates is rather impressive, and useful. This is because, even of you missed out on the first two rounds of updates which Microsoft dropped, you will be upto speed in no times, once you install this third package. This combines everything from round one and round two as well.

Happy updating !
