PlayStation, Vue

Calling all gamers!

We have great news for you. As most avid PS owners already know, PlayStation Plus has been giving you free games each month but sadly, it was not something we could have a word in. It just covered some random games the team thought would be well received. But guess what, John Koller, PlayStation VP of platforms marketing, through a blog post today, announced that now users will be able to cast votes to determine the upcoming month’s Instant Game Collection. The feature has been dubbed ‘Vote to Play’ by Sony’s gaming wing.

The most voted game is said to join the free games lineup for PlayStation Plus, automatically. So, what are you waiting for, get voting now.

Oh wait, we still haven’t got all details about how and when the voting will start and what the terms of the feature are.

Fear not folks. According to the blog post announcing the new feature, all details regarding this promotion will soon be released. And as an added bonus, the first round runner-up will be up for discounts. So don’t be disappointed if your choice doesn’t make it to the top spot, you may still be able to get your favourite game for quite a bit less.
