Microsoft is in final stages of releasing a refurbished Xbox One controller, which will house an additional 3.5 mm headphone jack to give a more personalised gaming experience to you. The Redmond giant revealed its plans via a support article on Xbox support page (via Windows Central).
This, apart from being a welcome addition, will also narrow down the functionality gap between Xbox One Controller and Playstation 4’s DualShock controller. DualShock already features a 3.5 mm headphones jack for plugging in headsets.
The current stereo headset adapter provides volume and mute controls straight from the controller, however, it isn’t clear whether Microsoft is planning to provide those exact some features, or some additional perks as well.
Microsoft’s annual E3 Conference is also round the corner, wherein the software giant could officially unveil the controller. You may also see minor hardware tweaks to Xbox One console as well.
