Xiaomi’s flash sale method had been bringing in huge benefits for the Chinese company. Xiaomi stormed the Indian smartphone market with its Mi3 flash sales, and it continues to do so with the Redmi 1S. In the seventh flash sale today, 90K units of Redmi 1S got sold out in a matter of minutes.

Redmi1S, priced at Rs. 5,999 is Xiaomi’s cheapest offering in the country. Xiaomi entered the Indian market with its immensely popular (in China) model, the Mi3. After selling record number of Mi3 models in an equally record time, Xiaomi then brought the Redmi1S to Indian markets.

Xiaomi’s Redmi 1S has been replicating the success achieved by Mi3, albeit, at almost triple that rate. This is because, due to extremely high demand of its handsets, Xiaomi is now offering over 100 K units of Redmi 1S in almost every flash sale .

The Snapdragon 400 powered Dual SIM handset has been a favourite among Indian customers, who are switching from their ordinary mobile phones, to smartphones. The device is powered by Xiomi’s latest MIUI, has a built-in 8 GB memory, all this, at a rock bottom price of Rs.5,999.
