A new set of images, shared by nowhereelse.fr show that not only will the 4.7 and 5.5 inch models have different home buttons, these home buttons are also different, from what you see in iPhone 5s.
These new images, which the website claims to be of both, the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch models, show entirely different home button designs, not only with each other, but also with their predecessor, iPhone 5s’ design.
While the iPhone 5s home button cable is looped around with a 180-degree turn, the 4.7-inch “iPhone 6” version will be a straight cable. On the other hand, the 5.5 inch cable has a slight curve as compared with that of 4.7. The parts, if they are indeed legitimate, imply that Apple will have very different internal layouts for both of its anticipated upcoming “iPhone 6” models.
Most expert websites and blogs, including Apple Insider, have found these claims legitimate, largely because of the fact that Identification numbers associated with the cables match up with previous leaks and parts from Apple.
Apple is expected to release both the devices in September, at a media event. The devices have been traditionally made available to the public on Friday, after one and a half week of product’s unveiling.
