Uber is currently testing a monthly subscription pass in the US, that will give its users access to all of its services, namely, Uber rides, Uber Eats and JUMP (bike and scooter) rides. While there is no official word on a global launch, this makes a lot of sense in India, and could find its way to the subcontinent soon.

According to TechCrunch, variants of this subscription service are being tested in San Francisco and Chicago. This service includes a fixed discount on every ride, free Uber Eats delivery and free JUMP rides. This subscription pass will cost $24.99 per month.

Last year, in October, Uber introduced Ride pass which provided its users access to cheaper rides to any location for a monthly fee of $14.99. And in cities where JUMP rides are available, this pass costs $24.99 per month. This monthly pass was designed for Uber customers who use their services daily. The newest pass being tested combines Uber Eats with the Ride pass.

Uber bought JUMP for $200 million in 2018. Uber’s latest service, JUMP, offers bike and scooter rentals in the US. By offering free JUMP rides through its monthly subscription pass, Uber is encouraging its customers to use JUMP bikes or scooters for shorter journeys.

With the new all-in-one pas, Uber targets its competitors like Postmates and Lyft. Postmates, a delivery service provides Plus Unlimited, a delivery subscription service that costs $10 per month and free delivery on all orders over $30. Whereas, Lyft, provides an All-Access Plan that gives passengers a specific number of rides to use for a month.

“From meals to wheels and everything in between, we’re always looking for ways to make Uber the go-to option for your everyday needs,” an Uber spokesperson told TechCrunch.
