Samsung has yet again set the bars high for the September launch event of a very famous (coughs) brand. The Galaxy S10 line up of phones is here, and are truly amazing in every sense that you could think of. The S10 line-up comes in 4 variants, starting from a budget model to the premium flagship Galaxy S10 5G.

Let us start with our first take on the launch. This launch, which marks the 10th anniversary of the Galaxy S line-up, is an “history defining moment” in Samsung’s rather already illustrious history. The 4 variants launched are all flagships, more than head-on taking the iPhone Xs and various other ‘flagship killer’ line-ups launched.

All of the devices come up with the same form factor, with major differences coming up in the hardware specsheet. The most premium of all is the Galaxy S10 5G, which is a 5G ready device and the only such device in the entire line-up released today. These new variants come with edge-to-edge display with pinhole cutout, three rear-facing cameras and Wireless Powershare — a revolutionary feature that lets devices charge each-other, wirelessly. The availability of these features on various independent models vary.

Galaxy S10 is made with Samsung’s best screen yet, the world’s first Dynamic AMOLED display. All of the announced models carry a unique Infinity-O Display with an array of sensors and camera technology into a hole-in display – so you can maximize your screen real estate without any distractions.

Another revolutionary (forgive me if I use that word too much during this piece) feature coming is Galaxy S10’s first-ever in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner. This scanner, unlike your usual fingerprint stuff, reads the 3D contours of your physical thumbprint – not a 2D image of it – for improved anti-spoofing. With the world’s first FIDO Alliance Biometric Component certification, this next generation biometrics authentication offers vault-like security to keep your device safe.

Here’s a detailed specsheet for you to have an easier look :
