I look forward to partnering with the industry, our ecosystem and the IBM team to further strengthen our business in the region.

On the other hand, Vanitha Narayan, who’ll now be the most powerful authority in IBM India, will play a critical role in pushing capabilities across the company’s global mission in India. She’ll also lay focus on further development of their global centres of excellence, research and innovation labs by strengthening regulatory and govt initiatives.

Narayan has been connected with IBM for the last eight years, working with the sales, marketing and strategy teams to expedite their efforts for the transformation of India’s ecosystem via latest digital tech. She shares her vision for what’s next to come for IBM India as under:

I see tremendous opportunity for us to power India’s digital transformation with our cognitive cloud platforms and deep industry expertise. It is incredibly gratifying for me to take over as Chairman of IBM India, a newly created position that reiterates the importance that IBM places on India to support growth and innovation in the region.

Maximizing the value of the entire organization in the region by evangelizing IBM’s brand and solutions in the ecosystem will also be one of my key responsibilities.
