There is one more kindle coming out today. And to readers’ delight the world over, each of these new devices feature some improvements over their previous variant. Along the same vein, the company has unveiled yet another one of its ebook readers.

The all new 6″ e-reader is up for pre order and will be made available starting the 7th of July.

The All-New Kindle is our most affordable e-reader featuring a thinner and lighter design, a touchscreen display that reads like real paper, a battery that lasts weeks, not hours, and more.

Lets get down to the device specifics first.

As with its past couple of e-readers, Amazon has again stressed upon the ease of holding the device for long durations of time. As a result, the new Kindle is 11 percent thinner and 16 percent lighter than the previous generation of e-readers. The device also packs a hefty — by ebook standards — 512 MBs of memory.

While 512 MB may not sound like much, it doubles the capacity of the previous Kindles and should allow for smoother functioning. Hopefully, the upgrade should also take care of the slight lag that was reported by some users while using some of Amazon’s previous e-readers.

The device has dimensions of 6.3 inches x 4.5 inches x 0.4 inches and weighs only 5.8 ounces. The new Kindle also packs some brand new features such as export Notes, a built-in Bluetooth audio support for better accessibility and — Good news Chinese literature fans —  Chinese Word Wise Hints.

And the best part? The new Kindle is available for the same price — that is $79.99 — as its predecessor. You can also try the Kindle Unlimited free for 30 days — giving you access to over 1 million titles. Meanwhile, US users have the option of receiving it on the same day as its release.

You can order the new Kindle in your choice of colour out of either black or white. To know more about the device or to place a pre-order for it, click here to go to the Kindle page on the Amazon website.
