Going along the lines of a flurry of top level exits from India’s biggest new-age companies, another Inmobi exec — Director of Operations Samuel John this time — has joined in-game native advertising platform GreedyGame under the same role.

John joins the GreedyGame team in the run up to its Series A round, and will be helping the company in its endeavours to scale up business by expanding its reach in the Middle East and the South East Asia region. He has been an integral part of InMobi’s international operations for a little under than five years and brings a wealth of industry experience with him.

Speaking about his appointment, Arpit Jain, CEO of GreedyGame said:

Sam joins us at a great time in our journey. We are at a stage where we’ve started focusing more on building processes that help scale our product to different publishers and advertisers across geographies. He comes in with very good experience in this domain and we are really excited to have him on board.

Founded in 2013, GreedyGame solves the unique problem of branding on the mobile medium with its proprietary native advertising platform.

By providing nonintrusive ads that don’t disrupt gameplay, the company helps brands to tap into their precise target demographic; publishers to monetize their content without the fear of compromising on quality or losing their audience base; and end users to enjoy games seamlessly, without annoying ads interrupting their gaming experience.

Talking about the same and his decision to join GreedyGame, John said,

Native advertising is undoubtedly the future of mobile advertising and GreedyGame is pioneering in this business of meaningful user friendly ad experiences. I’m thrilled to be joining the GreedyGame family as we work towards bringing a global revolution in the way brands reach customers and the way users perceive these brands and their messages.

In a little more than two years, GreedyGame has established itself as a preferred native advertising platform. With more than 1 million daily active users, GreedyGame is working with 50+ game companies in India, including industry biggies such as Nazara, Reliance, Games2win, Octro, Nextwave, Hungama, Disney, etc..

It has worked with top brands such as PepsiCo, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Gatorade, Vespa, Airtel, Fastrack, EA, Amazon, Marico, among others to help them publish their ads on gaming platforms.
