These days it is very rare to see a company launching a new phone which is not known to people beforehand, thanks to all those pre-release rumors, leaked images, and videos. And a similar thing has happened with the next flagship device — HTC 10 whose promotional video has been leaked on YouTube.
The video shows a metal bar being shaped into a sleek phone with chamfered edges, something which HTC had also teased through a tweeted picture. The latest video also shows the all too familiar camera bump and an oval shaped home button- much on the lines of iPhone-ish design like many other device makers.
The video also reveals that HTC 10 will be apparently available in three colors namely- black, silver, and gold.
HTC is set to officially unveil the phone in an event which is scheduled for tomorrow so we will get to know more about the features and specifications in detail then only.
However, it is not as if we do not have any idea as there have been a number of rumors which give an enough detailed picture- 5.1-inch QHD AMOLED touch screen powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor; 4GB RAM, 32GB expandable storage; 12-megapixel rear camera; 5-megapixel UltraPixel front camera, 3,000 mAh battery, and a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button.
There is also an exclusive report by a Dutch blog called GSM Helpdesk which contains live photos of the HTC 10 as well as a detailed look at the features. The report also says that the HTC has developed the existing BoomSound setup into a new “HTC BoomSound HiFi edition” featuring Dolby audio technology in HTC 10.
The device is expected to go on sale in the US from next month. More information will be disclosed at the official event by HTC tomorrow. So stay tuned for more updates on this new flagship.
