Tata Group’s Tata Consultancy Services, one of the country’s largest IT firms, said that it has been awarded with the title of UK’s top employer by a major certification body for the second time in a row.
The company, which has a significant presence in the country, was presented the award by the Top Employers Institute, which is a research body established a couple of decades ago with the aim to look into and award companies with the best HR and Employee conditions.
The institute grants this honor to companies only after thoroughly looking into a whole spectrum of parameters including, talent strategy, workforce planning, on-boarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, career and succession management, compensation, benefits and company culture.

Our in-depth examination concluded that Tata Consultancy Services provides an outstanding employee experience, with high quality initiatives that engage, reward and motivate employees, ensuring that people can develop themselves personally and professionally, and build a rewarding career.
Certainly good news for the 11,000 odd employees that work with the TCS in the UK and Ireland. The employees are distributed across most of the UK’s industrial cities and provide TCS solutions to various corporate entities in the UK.
Speaking upon the topic, Nupur Singh Mallick, HR Director,Tata Consultancy Services UK and Ireland, said
We are delighted to have been awarded the UK’s number one Top Employer for the second year running and are looking forward to building on this progress as we continue to invest in training and development for our staff.
