End-to end record and information management company Next Gen Paper Solutions Private Limited — also called Kleeto — has raised an impressive investment of almost INR 1.5 Crore via the GREX Platform.
GREX is an exchange-like platform where investors can discover companies, invest and keep track of their investments. Once a startup is live, the platform lists on its website wherein investors subscribe to that company if they are willing to invest — pretty much similar to how one subscribes to shares during an IPO debut.
The platform, which might almost immediately spark interest for its intuitive approach to private equity investing, is currently in private Alpha.
Kleeto on the other hand, is the brainchild of first generation entrepreneurs Sunil Mahajan and Naresh Chand and works with corporate entities to ensure that their important documents as well as information is safe and available for ready access. What’s more, for those who still believe in hard copies for one reason or the other, Kleeto helps store their precious, physical documents in secure warehouses.
The company also offers varied services for employee file management with emphasis on file storage, file access, document creation, document distribution and document collection.
The company already has over 150 Corporate clients that include several MNCs from a spectrum of sectors including manufacturing, travel, IT, Telecom, Hospitality, Media etc.
As per Sunil Mahajan, Co-Founder and CEO of Kleeto,
Kleeto not only maintains physical and digital records but also puts a layer of intelligence on these documents. With Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi emphasis on Digital India, it is imperative for us to further increase our footprint and expand our business.
Speaking upon the recent investment with GREX, Naresh Chand, Co-founder and Director of the company said,
We have raised angel capital before, but the GREX experience was very different. We were surprised at the fluidity of the process. Fund raising is a fairly long drawn and cumbersome undertaking otherwise. GREX team has done an amazing job at integrating the whole thing together.
Adding that the funds raised will be used for technology enhancement and increasing geographical reach.
Interestingly, Kleeto was also the first start-up to raise capital on the GREX platform. According to Karanvir Singh, Head of Startup engagements, GREX,
I am happy that kleeto was our first company to raise capital on GREX. It is a joy to all of us that kleeto raise was over-subscribed as well. And, it says a lot about the investor confidence in this company, as GREX was fairly new for investors, the appeal of kleeto may have made it easier.
