Gurgaon based fashion focused social network, Roposo announced that they have secured a sum of $5 million in Series A investment led by technology venture investor Tiger Global. The round also saw partnership of previous investors, namely Indian Quotient and Binny Bansal (Flipkart.com).

Roposo.com, offers fashion choices from across 150 webstores with categories spanning from apparel, footwear to all sort of fashion accessories. Roposo intends to make use of the exponentially rising e-commerce market which is believed to become world’s largest e-commerce market soon.
Conceived and caressed by IIT Delhi alumni Mayank Bhangadia, Avinash Saxena (ex CTO of Zomato.com) and Kaushal Shubhank, Roposo aims at replacing Google and Facebook as default fashion search platform.
Roposo has its presence on desktop as well as mobile devices, claiming to have over 50,000 application downloads, according to Google Play Store. Previous round of funding garnered Roposo around $1 million and with this latest round of funding it has touched the 6$ million milestone.
