Opera today brought a new update to its desktop browser, containing a stable Linux version, a new bookmark sharing feature and a few other small updates. These new updates may prove to be vital for Opera to continue to survive in the web browsing segment.
The bookmark sharing feature ‘marquee’ allows users to share bookmarks easily rather than going through the procedure of copying the link and sending via mail or IM. All you need to do is click on share button and all the bookmarks will be ready to be transferred via a private link.
Opera 26 also brings a new built-in print preview feature, a simplified method for importing bookmarks and settings from older versions and other browsers, and a better integrated UI for Mac OS X.
Linux users will see a stable version coming to their systems with this update and will get to enjoy the same features as Windows and Mac users do.
