As promised earlier this year, HP has created an Android and iOS compatible smartwatch, MB Chronowing by teaming up with fashion designer Michael Bastian.
This smartwatch rather being a piece of advanced technology, is more like reminiscent of older watches. We cannot compare this piece with other smartwatches out there in the market stuffed with tons of luxurious features. It is designed to be more of an accessory and not with a motive of sporting a number of sensors and abilities.
MB Chronowing doesn’t have a touchscreen and instead relies on buttons along the side of the watch. The display used is a black and white LCD. It also doesn’t track your step count or have a microphone for voice commands. That means it won’t allow you to make phone calls and will simply show your notifications, switch up watchfaces, control music playing on your phone, and pop up incoming texts and mails. The Chronowing also claims to be water resistant upto 5ATM and have up to a week of battery life.
The Chronowing will be exclusively sold through Gilt.com from November 7, and it costs $349. There’s also a limited edition with sapphire crystal and an alligator strap that will sell for $649.
