Now, Android and iOS developers can add a ‘like’ button inside their app! Facebook, on Thursday, launched the ‘Like’ button for the mobile apps.

It gives the users power to ‘like’ an app, the contents in the app or any article without visiting the facebook page or its website. The ‘like’ button can be displayed either when the user installs the app (if it’s a popular one!) or the developer can choose for the right time like when the user reaches a top score or something.

Facebook Software Engineer Todd Krabach noted in a blog post that the Like and Share buttons are seen across nearly 10 million websites monthly:

Today, we are excited to make the Like Button available to all Android and iOS mobile app developers. People using a mobile app can directly Like the app’s Facebook Page, or any Open Graph object within the app, and share on Facebook. The mobile Like Button works seamlessly with the Facebook account the person is logged into on their device, allowing people to Like any piece of content, while in your native app.

After tapping the button, you reach a facebook page for accepting or denying the “like” and then are sent back to the app you were on. To install the LIKE button in your app just tap the link below:

    iOS

This move will help Facebook in branding itself better and spreading its link all over the mobo world .
