The camera app in iOS 11 is supposed to come with a whole slew of new, appealing features. According to certain Twitter reports in the U.S, the iOS 11 beta version will allow the native iPhone camera app to read QR codes.
This means that iPhone users will now simply have to point their iPhone cameras at a QR code and they will receive a notification that will give them a URL to follow the code, as shown below.

Because the feature is presently in beta, there is a possibility that it will be slightly changes until the official iOS 11 release. But, this minor update making the iPhone so much more user-friendly looks like something Apple would do, and the same will not be more complicated than this.
This new feature seems to be a part of a bunch of iOS 11 features that were announced at Worldwide Developers Conference 2017. This includes more features for the camera, such as better compression for captured videos and photos that will give the user the same image quality but will take up half the space.
The Photos app will now be able to make memory movies that are based about memories, photos of friends, family, and pets. Apple has also made changes to its portrait mode which now includes improved low light photography through its dual cameras.
Additional announcements at the WWDC revealed a new Apple HomePod, which is powered by Siri. This seems to be a release in competition against Amazon’s Echo speaker and intends to redefine the way music is listened at home.
iOS 11 also includes an Alternative Reality kit for developers to make products using AR for the iPhone and iPad.
The WWDC 2017 has revealed many features that are super exciting for developers and users alike, with new products and exciting new things to come from iOS 11! Stay tuned to be regularly updated on the latest developments.
