While the tablet market is stagnating, Huawei has still quietly appended its MediaPad T3 tablet lineup with two new models today — an 8-inch display variant and another one featuring a 7-inch display. The pricing of the devices has not been listed on the site, though it is expected that the MediaPad T3 8.0 will launch at $234, while the smaller model with low specs will have a pricing of just $138.

The tablet features a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels offering a pixel density of 170 ppi. Powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MTK MT8127 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz with Mali 450 GPU, it runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow skinned with its own EMUI 4.1 on top.

Huawei MediaPad T3 7 comes with two variants to choose from — 1GB RAM with 8GB internal storage and the other with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. Both the models are expandable up to additional 64GB via MicroSD slot. Calling on its battery specs, it is equipped with a 3,100 mAh pack offering a long-lasting experience.

On the camera front, the tablet sports a 2-MP camera on both rear and front panels. It provides all necessary connectivity options including 4G/LTE, WiFi 802.11b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

Huawei MediaPad T3 8 has two further models to pick from — the KOB-L09 (supporting both LTE and WiFi) and the other one being KOB-W09 (supporting only WiFi). The LTE/WiFi version may demand a higher price than $234. Featuring an 8-inch IPS display that comes with 1280 x 800-pixel resolution, it also has two storage combos offering different RAM and storage options. The first of them offers 2GB RAM along with 16GB storage, the other variant comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

Powered by Qualcomm MSM8917, quad-core A53 (4 x 1.4 GHz processor), it runs Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Huawei’s latest EMUI 5.1 on top. It also sports a huge battery of 4,800 mAh capacity.

Huawei MediaPad T3 8 beats the aforementioned 7-inch model in every aspect. In the optics segment, it comes with a 5-MP rear camera coupled with a 2-MP selfie shooter. It is packed with all connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11n, LTE-FDD, TD-LTE, UMTS and GSM, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS as well.

Huawei is yet to disclose the availability and pricing of the tablets. However, making them visible on the website apparently indicates a release soon.
