In what continues to be a part of an aggressive global expansion plan, that India’s home-grown XgenPlus had forayed into for its native language email services, the company has now launched its service in Russia, a in a launch press conference held at Interfax headquarters in Moscow.

To give you a background of what this is about, Jaipur-headquartered email service provider Xgen, had beaten the likes of Gmail, Office365 and a host of other dominating players in the email domain, to launch the first ever, global support for emails in native languages. That very achievement, marked the first time, a major service provider had extended identity support to the local languages as well.

For the longest time ever, folks looking for email addresses in native languages had to be disappointed as no arrangements for the same was made by any of the existing service providers including the likes of Gmail, Rediff, Yahoo and even Office 365 suite of services. However, Xgenplus is there to fill in the gap by becoming the 1st email provider to support IDN based domain email ids.

To further top up these achievements, the company, a month ago, further expanded its support to Arabic and Chinese languages — two areas wherein it could reap in huge befits, largely because natives of these two languages continue to demand services in their preferred language, and not English.

Russian has now become the latest language to be added to the list of languages supported by Xgen.

The service, will be jointly launched by Webnames Limited (Russia) and Data Xgen Technologies (India), operating on the equipment installed in Russia. ПОЧТА.РУС will be a full-service, which allows the exchange of e-mail messages using the address type кириллица@почта.рус in full accordance with the IETF standards (RFC6530-RFC6533, RFC6855-RFC6858). ПОЧТА.РУС will also be available as a free communication solution that functions on the website ПОЧТА.РУС and on mobile devices using the apps for iOS and Android.
