Up till now, Dishonored 2 has showcased everything from the game’s crafty and cunning escapes all the way to how its map ‘Karnaca’ is created. And I have to admit, it’s every part of it has looked stunning and, come next Friday, November 11, the lot of you who agree with me on that premise will get the chance to test it out for yourselves.

Though question remains: can your PC run it? Publisher Bethesda has officially revealed both the minimum and recommended system settings required to run Dishonored 2, and has also gone further by listing all ofthe advanced settings which can be toggled on and off as per your discretion.

Minimum:

  • Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit versions)
  • Intel Core i5-2400/AMD FX-8320 or better
  • 8 GB RAM
  • 60 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB or better
  • Contains a single disc
  • Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game
  • Requires Steam activation

Recommended:

  • Windows 10 (64-bit versions)
  • Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-8350 or better
  • 16 GB RAM
  • 60 GB free HDD space
  • NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB or better
  • Contains a single disc
  • Download of additional files from Steam is required to run the game
  • Requires Steam activation

While you clearly don’t need that impressive of a set up to operate it at the minimum settings, the recommended ones ask for an Intel Core i7-4770, 16 GB RAM, and a GTX 1060 with 6 GB of VRAM. That makes it quite the demanding software.

The game launches on all platforms on November 11th, pre-ordering it lets you play it a day early.
