Since its launch a couple weeks ago, Jio has been high on demand and it hasn’t been easy to get hold of a SIM card. However, in a move that could make it easy for you to get Jio SIM card, ShopClues has partnered with Reliance Jio to offer ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ to its users.

Interestingly, this offer from ShopClues comes at a time when aspiring users are finding it hard to get the Jio SIM. With this partnership, ShopClues has become the first e-commerce player to do so.

Customers can purchase any 4G-enabled Jio eligible smartphone from ShopClues and then go get a free Jio SIM card from any Reliance Digital/ Digtal Xpress/ Digtal Xpress Mini store near them. This partnership could easily help the e-commerce company attract a hoard of customers who’re eventually looking to buy a new phone — and snag a free Jio SIM card alongwith it.

As a part of the Jio’s Welcome Offer, users can enjoy unlimited access to HD voice calls (on Jio eligible VoLTE phones), messaging, video calls, high-speed data, as well as get access to its suite of apps till December 31, 2016. The company has also extended its welcome offer to mobile companies such as Lenovo, Micromax, Asus, Panasonic, HTC and Samsung, Intex to name a few.

All subscribers under the ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ will be entitled to certain special benefits. Users can avail attractive discounts on the purchase of their favourite 4G smartphone exclusively on ShopClues along with bagging a free Jio SIM card.

Commenting on the launch, Nitin Sharma, Senior Director(Category) of ShopClues, said

We believe that our association with Reliance Jio will help users to fully unlock the potential of their smartphones and experience 4G like never before. The bold tariff offers, free voice calls, instant call connect amongst other features have caught the attention of Indian customers nation-wide and they are eager to get access to high-speed and unlimited data for free.

Reliance Jio has indeed taken the telecom market by storm in a short span and our partnership will help us pass on its incredible value-driven services to our large and loyal customer base.

Jio claims to be the only mobile network in the country that is only 4G LTE. But as per the recent reports, the internet speed has decreased drastically with the increasing number of users. There have also been reports of an increase in the number of drop calls, between Jio and other network providers. And they’ve all sighted Jio’s flooded network as the cause for the same.
